About Us
We are concerned fans and citizens. We would be devastated if the Bucks left the City of Milwaukee. We realize owner Herb Kohl is losing money owning the team and that the Bradley Center is not generating enough revenue for a National Basketball Association (NBA) team to remain in Milwaukee long-term.
We also realize that the local economy would be negatively impacted and jobs would be lost if the Bucks were to relocate. The Bradley Center employs approximately 1,200 people, including 72 full-time employees and seasonal employment equivalent to an additional 75 full-time positions (Source: Bradley Center Website).
Our Goal
Our goal is to keep the Bucks in Milwaukee! We want to put pressure on those with decision-making authority to renovate the Bradley Center, both on the interior and exterior. There is not a whole lot that can be done inside, but improvements can be made. This is just a band-aid approach, however.
The ultimate goal would be to get a new, privately-funded arena that would ensure the Bucks stay in Milwaukee for decades to come. There is land that can be developed around the Bradley Center, particularly north of the center. Perhaps a new arena could be built in this space.
Let's be proactive, and not reactive, in keeping our Bucks. Lastly, and most importantly: stay positive, have fun, and get involved! Visit our contact page to find out how you can get involved with the effort to keep the Bucks in Milwaukee.
