According to sources, the Bucks might be heading out of Milwaukee unless the Bradley Center receives funding to repair the 21-year-old facility.

As if the Bucks didn’t already have enough problems after Michael Redd went down with a season-ending injury, it looks like the franchise’s days at the Bradley Center in the city of Milwaukee are numbered.

In Michael Hunt's column that appeared in Wednesday's Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, he wrote that Senator Kohl would only sell the Bucks to an owner who promised to keep the team in Milwaukee. While that would be a noble gesture, such a promise almost certainly would be unenforceable.

In 1968, the National Basketball Association expanded with franchises in Phoenix and Milwaukee. After the two teams finished tied with the league's worst record in their respective first seasons, the NBA tossed a coin to determine who would draft first overall in 1969.
